PHOTO: Viznaugh wins gold in Cyclo-cross
Photo: 15-year-old Revelstoke cyclist Kellen Viznaugh took gold at the U17 BC Cyclo-cross Championships held on Oct. 21 at Mahon Park in North Vancouver.
The rider is in his second season in the discipline, which involves riding a street bike with off-road modifications on roads, paths and some cross-country off-road. Viznaugh’s goal this season is to qualify for the national Cyclo-Cross Championships in South Surrey this November.
