Two people were taken to hospital after a pair of pick-up trucks collided on the Trans-Canada Highway in Rogers Pass on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at around 4:15 p.m. when a westbound truck collided with an eastbound truck that was hauling a trailer.

Both drivers were taken to Queen Victoria Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, through drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as contributing factors.
