Photo: Logging truck roll over
The off-ramp to Victoria Road from the Trans-Canada Highway was blocked off for more than an hour after a logging truck rolled over and spilled it's load Friday afternoon.
An RCMP officer at the scene said the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. The truck was coming around the bend when it flipped over, spilling its load to the side of the off-ramp, right where it joins up with Victoria Road.
A log hauler truck was brought in to pick up the spilled logs and clean up the scene. Several RCMP were on hand to monitor traffic. Crews closed off Victoria Road from the highway to the entrance to the Shell gas station and McDonald restaurant while clean up took place. Drivers were able to get onto the highway via Bend Road.
No one was injured in the crash.
