Burglar gets safe from Salon Safari on Campbell Avenue

Revelstoke RCMP are asking for public help tracking down the person or persons who broke into the Salon Safari beauty parlour at 202 Campbell Avenue.

The incident was discovered on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 8 and happened sometime the night before.

Police say the burglar or burglars broke the lock on the front door to get in. Once inside they stole a safe, cash from the tip jar and an antique cash register.

In a separate incident the following night of Dec. 8--9, the window on the door of a residence on Second Street West was broken.

Police say someone threw a chunk of ice through it. Anyone with information on either incident is encouraged to call the Revelstoke RCMP at 250-837-5255.
