Photo gallery: It's official, Begbie View Elementary is open

The school slogan and logo for Begbie View Elementary was unveiled to the public at an official opening ceremony on Thursday afternoon.

The slogan and logo, "Growing together . . . and being our best" were revealed by students Julianna Carter and Brayden Holden at a ceremony at the school.

About 75 people were on hand to listen to various stakeholders give thanks to the partners in the new school project – the ministry, school board, city and others – and talked about the benefits the school

They then gathered for the unveiling of the logo, followed by the official ribbon cutting ceremonies for the acrobats gymnasium and early learning centre. The school was then opened up for the public to explore.
