Two arrested after Revelstoke grow-op busted
Two Revelstoke residents were arrested after police busted a marijuana grow-op in Columbia Park on Thursday.
Revelstoke RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on the 1900 block of Malcolm Road at around 3 p.m. on Sept. 8, said Cpl. Rod Wiebe of the Revelstoke RCMP in a press release.
Inside the residence, police found a small marijuana grow operation consisting of about 65 plants. They also seized about 2.3 kilograms of dried marijuana.
A 42-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were arrested and charged with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in December.
