A national ski jumping champion, a jeweler and musician, a policeman with a love of hunting, and a businessman and war veteran.

Those are the four candidates for Revelstoke's Top Gent – a Facebook competition being held by the Revelstoke Museum & Archives featuring four dapper men from Revelstoke's history.

The contestants are Hans Gunnarsen, Guy Barber, "Big Jack" Kirkup and Thompson Edgar Leon Taylor. You can vote for your favorite at the museum's Facebook page.

The contest was set up to coincide with Revelstoke's Top Bloke competition. The museum went out and created profiles for four Revelstoke men from days long past. The tongue-in-cheek profiles include biographies, what the men are looking for in a woman, their ideal first date, and their best pick-up line.

Their photos and profiles have been posted on the museum's Facebook page and the winner will be determined by whoever gets the most likes.
